The Alzheimer's Association is the pre-eminent non-profit health organization dedicated to treatment, support, and research for Alzheimer's disease. It was established in 1980. Through its network of local chapters, the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ) offers care and support to individuals who are coping with Alzheimer's disease. They also provide education and awareness programs, both online and in-person, and financial assistance for research into Alzheimer's disease therapies. The goal of 7 Cups is to instill compassion in the hearts of people everywhere. They provide free online chat with volunteer listeners around the clock, seven days a week, and have specially trained listeners for 13-17 year olds. They also provide private online counseling services at a cost of $150 per month.
Since 7 Cups' graduation from Y-Combinator in 2013, the organization has considerably increased the number of people who have access to emotional support and behavioral health services. Right now, their mental health system is the biggest of its kind in the whole world.
